Every certificate carries a unique certificate ID printed on the document.
To verify a certificate:
1. Open the public verification page (linked in the footer of every certificate).
2. Enter the certificate ID.
3. The page confirms whether the certificate is genuine, shows the edition it was issued for, and displays the retail and trade values recorded at the time.
Verification is public — no account is needed. This allows buyers, finance companies, or dealers to check a certificate without logging in.
If the verification page shows "Certificate not found", the ID may have been entered incorrectly or the certificate may have been revoked. Contact the issuing party for a replacement if needed.
Verifying a certificate by ID
Any certificate issued through the guide can be independently verified using its unique certificate ID.
