The guide is a structured valuation tool for static caravan models in each published quarter. It does not scrape or average live marketplace listings.
For every row, the engine starts from the model's cost new (RRP) and its age measured to the quarter's edition date. Internal rules (multipliers, bands, layout logic) turn that into retail and trade figures for that snapshot only.
When a new quarter is published, the edition date moves forward. The same model year is then older, so values often drift down even if list price in the database is unchanged. That is expected behaviour.
Guests can explore structure and some fields; subscribers with active access see full retail and trade for the live quarter. If you see "subscription required", your organisation needs an active plan or admin-granted access.
Use figures as benchmarks alongside condition, location, pitch fees, and your own comps - not as a guaranteed sale or purchase price.
How caravan valuations work
How retail and trade are derived from cost new, model age at the edition date, and internal pricing rules - not from live classified ads.
